This is an excellent cookbook that isn't well advertised unfortunately. It is filled with wonderful recipes, and a gorgeous picture for every one of them! It's more than 400 pages and includes a tremendous variety of British treasures. The sections are: Soups and Broths, The Dairy, Vegetables and Salads, Sea and River, Meat, Poultry and Game, Puddings and Desserts, Special Occasions, Afternoon Tea, Good Cheer, Jams, Pickles and Preserves, Foods from the Wild, Techniques and Skills, Foods in Season and Features. It is written for a British audience as all British cookbooks are but its very easy once you get the hang of it and I have been able to find nearly every ingredient I need even if I make it myself which turned out to be easy as well. So I highly recommend this cookbook!!!
